Privacy Policy — AnySkill

1. Introduction

AnySkill is committed to protecting user privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information We Collect

• Identity: Name, email, phone, profile photo
• Financial: Transaction history and internal wallet balance. We do not store card details and we do not send data to a card processor — there is currently no external payment processor integrated; the wallet is an internal ledger only. Service providers also have bank account details stored for withdrawals.
• Identity verification (KYC) — providers: National ID / company number, ID document scan, live verification selfie, professional licences. Some verification is performed by our KYC vendor, Sumsub.
• Usage: Logs, preferences, settings
• Location: GPS (consent-based, for nearby provider search and active services)
• Content you provide: Chat messages, request descriptions, and photos you upload
• Business docs: License, tax certificate (providers only)

3. How We Use It

• Service: matching, payments, bookings
• Improvement: analytics and performance. Some usage and error records are linked to your user ID and are not anonymous.
• Communication: notifications, support
• Safety: fraud detection, terms enforcement

4. Third-Party Sharing & Processors

We do not sell data. Data is shared with the following processors, solely to operate the service:

• Google / Firebase — database, authentication, file storage, compute, push notifications, analytics
• Sumsub — identity verification (KYC); your ID document and selfie are sent from your device directly to Sumsub
• Sentry — error and crash monitoring, including your user ID, email address and display name
• Google Gemini and Anthropic (Claude) — AI features in the service (help centre, urgent-request assistance and others)
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim and map providers — address lookup and map display
• Email delivery provider — sending system emails
• Google Calendar — only where a provider has chosen to connect their calendar
• Law enforcement — only under a valid court order or binding legal requirement

Where your data is stored: data is stored and processed on Google Cloud servers in the United States (region nam5, with compute in us-central1). Several of the processors listed above also process data outside Israel.

6. Data Retention

Retained while account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account closure. Financial records: 7 years (legal requirement).

7. Age Requirement & Children's Data

Opening an account and contracting for services is restricted to those aged 18 and over.

However, for some services a parent provides us with information about their child — for example babysitting and children's activities (swimming, surfing, climbing, horse riding). That information may include the child's name, age, and in some cases allergies or a medical condition needed for their safety. It is provided by the parent, used solely to deliver the booked service, and is accessible only to the parent and the provider performing it. To access, correct or delete information about a child, please contact us.

AnySkill manages its databases in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations.

10. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice — gov.il/privacy-protection-authority. We would also welcome the chance to address your concern directly first.

11. Retention Periods

After account deletion, financial records are retained as required by law but are de-identified — names are replaced and only technical identifiers remain.

12. Binding Language

The Hebrew text is the binding version. Translations are provided for convenience only; in any conflict, the Hebrew prevails.

13. Google API Services — Limited Use

AnySkill's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

AnySkill accesses Google Calendar data solely to provide two user-facing features that are prominent in the application: (a) preventing double-booking by reading the user's free/busy availability, and (b) adding the user's own AnySkill bookings to their own calendar. AnySkill requests only the calendar.freebusy and calendar.events.owned scopes; it does not read event titles, descriptions, attendees or locations.

AnySkill does not use Google Workspace APIs, or any data obtained through Google Workspace APIs, to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. No data obtained from Google Calendar is transmitted to any third-party AI or machine-learning service. AnySkill does not transfer or sell Google user data to third parties, and does not use it for advertising or credit assessment.
